Rate of Pay: $23.00 to $25.00 per hour (paid weekly)

Overtime Rate: $34.50 to $37.50 per hour

2nd Shift Schedule:
  • Monday thru Friday; 3:45pm to 12:15am.
  • Overtime always available; paid breaks.

JOB SUMMARY:
  • MAAC is looking for an experienced fabricator/welder with potential to grow into a leadership role. The primary tasks involve building machine frames and components out of structural steel, followed by tearing down completed machines to prepare for transport.
  • MIG welding and fabrication of machine frames and components that consist of light gauge sheet metal to heavy gauge tube, flat bar and I-Beam.
  • Fabricating industrial ovens, safety guarding, vacuum tanks, swing doors, fan brackets, catwalks.
  • Grinding and finishing completed products.
  • Perform quality checks on finished components.
  • Installing finished components into machine structures.
  • Disassembling machines for painting and shipping.
  • Material handling with sit-down forklifts and overhead cranes.

DESIRED SKILLS:
  • Minimum of 3 years of fabrication experience with various metals
  • MIG welding experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints.
  • Experience with saws, shears, drill presses, forklifts, and cranes are a plus.
