Rate of Pay: $26.00 to $28.00 per hour (paid weekly).
Overtime Rate: $39.00 to $42.00 per hour.

1st Shift Schedule: 
  • Monday thru Friday; 7:00am to 3:30pm.
  • Overtime always available; paid breaks.

JOB SUMMARY:
The Industrial Electrician will be responsible for wiring components into machine structures and sub-assemblies as well as the testing and trouble-shooting of these and related tasks.
  • Wire contacts, overloads, switches, power distribution blocks, and relays.
  • Ability to read and interpret European-style IEC (ladder/line) or American-style NFPA electrical schematics.
  • Run separate pathways for high-voltage AC power lines and low-voltage DC sensor/data lines to avoid electromagnetic interference.
  • Correctly wire specialized industrial field devices, including proximity switches, photoelectric eyes, limit switches, solenoids, and safety light curtains.
  • Terminate fieldbus and communication protocols safely without damaging the integrity of the lines.
  • Pull and mark wires and labels.
  • Terminate wires to panels.
  • Coordinate with the automation programmer to manually trigger field sensors and verify that the corresponding physical input/output LEDs light up correctly on the PLC rack.
  • Troubleshoot and fix electrical issues with live 480V.
  • Assist in disassembling of the electrical components within our machines at the end of builds.

DESIRED SKILLS:
  • Minimum one year of Electrical schooling.
  • Knowledge of the NFPA 79 Electrical Standards for Machinery
  • Electrical work experience is a plus.
  • Knowledge of PLC is a plus.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
