Rate of Pay: $24.00 to $26.00 per hour (paid weekly).

Overtime Rate: $36.00 to $39.00 per hour.

1st Shift Schedule:

Monday thru Friday; 7:00am to 3:30pm.
10+ hours of overtime consistently available; paid breaks.

JOB SUMMARY:

MAAC is looking for an experienced fabricator/welder with potential to grow into a leadership role. The primary tasks involve building machine frames and components out of structural steel, followed by tearing down completed machines to prepare for transport.

MIG welding and fabrication of machine frames and components that consist of light gauge sheet metal to heavy gauge tube, flat bar and I-Beam.
Fabricating industrial ovens, safety guarding, vacuum tanks, swing doors, fan brackets, catwalks.
Grinding and finishing completed products.
Perform quality checks on finished components.
Installing finished components into machine structures.
Disassembling machines for painting and shipping.
Material handling with sit-down forklifts and overhead cranes.
Typical workload is 80% Fabrication and 20% Welding

DESIRED SKILLS:

Minimum of 2 years of fabrication experience with various metals
MIG welding experience.
Ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints.
Experience with saws, shears, drill presses, forklifts, and cranes are a plus.
